SK Hynix celebrated a strong Nasdaq debut, with its ADRs jumping 13% on Friday, closing at $168.01. The surge is attributed to immense demand for its memory chips, particularly High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), crucial for the booming artificial intelligence sector.

Chairman Chey Tae-won told CNBC that the demand for memory chips from AI agents and robots is “enormous” and is expected to continue growing, solidifying SK Hynix’s strategic investments in expansion.
