Bank of America has identified a compelling array of buying opportunities, advising investors to acquire shares in specific companies ahead of their quarterly earnings reports. The esteemed investment bank, through its analysts, points to significant upside potential in stocks like Micron Technology, Uber Technologies, Take-Two Interactive, Salesforce, and Aramark.
Salesforce, the cloud-based software giant, is reportedly "firing on all cylinders." Analyst Tal Liani recently upgraded the stock to a 'buy' rating from 'underperform', highlighting the company's comprehensive approach to enterprise AI adoption. Liani's research suggests successful integration of AI across various products and an encouraging improvement in momentum, including robust net new annual order value (nnAOV) growth and accelerated Slack performance, all signaling faster growth in the near future. Despite these positives, shares are currently down 13% in 2026.
Video game developer Take-Two Interactive is deemed "too attractive to ignore." Analyst Omar Dessouky recommends being long on TTWO, particularly through the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 launch scheduled for November 19. While shares have fallen 25% this year, Dessouky views this as a buying opportunity, forecasting materially stronger long-term EPS growth. The analyst expects the launch of GTA Online in the first quarter of 2027 to provide tangible evidence of significant monetization upside. Take-Two is slated to report earnings on November 9.
For Uber Technologies, the focus is squarely on autonomous vehicles (AV). Analyst Justin Post notes that competitive pressures in the US AV market, including reported vehicle ramps from Waymo and Tesla's Cybercab, have impacted the stock in the third quarter. The upcoming US supply roadmap will be a critical discussion point during Uber's third-quarter earnings call on November 4. Despite current "negative" sentiment, Post believes Uber has a strong offering for AV partners, and an update on a more visible US AV supply pipeline, possibly driven by its partnership with NVIDIA to deploy robotaxis in 28 cities by 2028, could significantly improve investor sentiment. Uber's shares are down 20% year-to-date.
Bank of America also sees promise in Aramark. The firm cites a compelling momentum story, driven by new executive leadership implemented in 2019 that revitalized the organization, bolstered the salesforce, and incentivized managers to secure new business. Analysts anticipate multiple expansion as Aramark continues to drive new client growth and actively deleverages its balance sheet.
Finally, Micron Technology is a 'buy' based on its "mid/longer-term strategic value of memory." Following recent tech and product webinars, discussions with Micron's COO Manish Bhatia, CTO Scott DeBoer, CFO Mark Murphy, and IR CVP Satya Kumar have led Bank of America to be incrementally more positive on the memory sector. Management's outlook suggests that calendar years 2027 and 2028 are expected to be tighter than 2026, indicating a favorable supply-demand dynamic for memory products.
