A man suspected of driving a minivan into a crowd near Berlin’s Christopher Street Day Pride event, resulting in one fatality and 29 injuries, was shot dead by police. The suspect, identified as a 21-year-old known Islamist with a history of radicalization, was confronted by officers in the Spandau district after fleeing the scene.
