A federal appeals court has blocked President Trump’s executive order aimed at imposing new rules on mail-in voting across 23 states. The court rejected the administration’s argument that legal challenges were premature, stating states must respond to the order’s immediate deadlines.

The executive order, signed in March, sought to create citizen voter lists via DHS and restrict USPS ballot deliveries. A lower court had already found key provisions unconstitutional, a decision the appeals court upheld.
