The President indicated his intention to contact Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to discuss the situation and ascertain Canada’s planned actions. Meanwhile, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin affirmed the significant concern and harm caused by the Canadian wildfires and pledged to urge Canadian leadership to expedite fire suppression efforts.
