Oil prices plummeted by 6% following reports that Iran has signaled a halt to its attacks, contingent on the United States maintaining its pause in hostilities. This potential de-escalation eases concerns over recent conflict intensification.

Brent crude futures dipped to approximately $90.97 a barrel, and U.S. WTI crude futures fell to $83.83. A senior Iranian official reportedly conveyed that Tehran’s operations will cease if U.S. strikes also stop, a message apparently communicated to Washington.
