JPMorgan has downgraded Stellantis, the parent company of brands like Jeep and Dodge, to neutral from overweight, predicting continued underperformance. The investment bank believes Stellantis needs over a year to realize benefits from cost-saving measures, with significant improvements in North American operations not expected until fiscal years 2027/2028. Analysts suggest drastic cuts in labor and capacity across Europe and North America might be necessary for a quicker turnaround.
