Kuaishou shares experienced an initial surge after its Kling AI subsidiary successfully raised 19 billion yuan ($2.79 billion) in a funding round, significantly backed by Tencent’s $200 million investment. The deal, which targets a $15 billion valuation for Kling AI, highlights strong investor confidence in Kuaishou’s AI-driven creator services. Despite an initial jump of nearly 7%, Kuaishou’s stock later pared gains, closing roughly 0.75% higher in Hong Kong.
