According to senior U.S. administration officials, Trump's agenda includes discussions with Middle Eastern leaders and a crucial working session focused on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will also be present.

The President is scheduled to depart for Evian, France, early Monday, following a mixed-martial-arts event at the White House on Sunday. His attendance at the G7 summit marks an opportunity to engage with European counterparts with whom he has had notable disagreements on trade, tariffs, Ukraine, and NATO since early 2025.
A significant part of Trump's summit activities will be a working session on Tuesday dedicated to Ukraine. This meeting occurs at a critical juncture, with Russian advances in Ukraine reportedly slowing and Kyiv actively seeking increased military support from its allies. One official noted that Russian gains have "more or less stopped," emphasizing a shared desire to "end the war as quickly as possible."
While no formal bilateral meeting with President Zelenskyy is scheduled, the possibility of sideline encounters between the two leaders remains open. Beyond the Ukraine discussions, President Trump is set to hold separate meetings with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, France, and India.
Key topics slated for discussion by Trump with these leaders include economic growth and development, strengthening supply chain resilience, addressing illegal migration, and the implications of artificial intelligence (AI). A particular focus will be placed on enhancing the supply chain for critical minerals essential for the development of advanced technologies.
The summit activities will conclude with a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles on Wednesday, after which President Trump is expected to return to Washington.
