Jio Platforms, India’s largest telecom operator backed by tech giants Meta and Google, has received regulatory approval for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company aims to raise approximately $3.9 billion, potentially making it India’s largest-ever IPO.

Funds raised will be utilized to reduce the debt of its subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm. This development comes as India’s IPO market shows strong momentum, with an estimated $50 billion in offerings planned for the year.
