Hunter Biden has provided a somber update on his father, President Joe Biden's health, revealing that the former president's cancer has spread and is causing considerable pain. In a candid interview with the BBC, Hunter Biden described the difficult situation, stating, "It's really, really hard, and it's really sad to watch... I wish he would complain more, because it's not good." He further elaborated that "The cancer has spread, is metastasized into his bones and further. It's very painful."
President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025. He subsequently underwent treatment, including hormone therapy and radiation. Despite the health challenges, Hunter Biden noted his father's continued dedication, saying, "but he's still out there. He's still doing his thing... he so believes in this country."
During the interview, Hunter Biden also expressed his deep gratitude for President Biden's decision to pardon him in the final weeks of his presidency. The pardon, issued in December 2024, covered Hunter Biden's federal gun and tax charge convictions. "I am the most privileged person, as it relates to that, that there could possibly be," Hunter Biden stated. "I was one of one, and I'm eternally grateful for it."
