The family expressed their joy, with Vance noting that his wife and the new baby are healthy and that their other children are excited to meet their new brother.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha, joyfully announced the birth of their fourth child, a son named Alec Neel Vance, on Sunday. The baby was born at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
A statement shared on Vance's X account expressed the family's happiness: "Usha and the baby are happy and healthy and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother."

The Vance family, now expanded to six, includes their elder son Ewan (born 2017), another son Vivek (born 2020), and daughter Mirabel (born 2021). J.D. Vance, an Ohio native, and Usha, whose parents are Indian immigrants, first met at Yale Law School, where they both graduated in 2013.
